Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst in the United States Maryland region to support compensation programs and business objectives. The role focuses on data-driven analyses, market research, and program reporting to drive fair pay structures and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Ability to access and review information and interact with workplace materials as needed.
• Flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute compensation programs accurately and on schedule.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of compensation programs including commissions, salary structure analysis, adjustments, and evaluations.
• Query and analyze complex datasets for reporting and decision-making.
• Provide analytical support to align programs with business and HR objectives, and assess pilots and new programs.
• Audit, assess, and summarize current compensation programs for accuracy and alignment.
• Research and resolve compensation issues for individuals and the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency and impact.
• Serve as liaison to business groups, providing compensation insights and responding to requests.
• Foster an environment of inclusion and strengthen cross-team relationships.
• Other duties may be assigned.
