Job summary

Hunt’s Community Director at USAF Academy, CO oversees the operational and financial performance of a military housing community with fewer than 500 units. You will lead staff, manage leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, and compliance while coordinating with government partners and reporting on performance.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on management, and the ability to drive revenue and occupancy through proactive leadership and effective budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, property management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ property leasing experience.
• Minimum 3 years in property management/operations with budgeting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing others.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff up to termination of direct reports.
• Serve as Hunt’s liaison with Government entities and maintain communication lines.
• Manage daily operations of the property and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Oversee financial performance within the approved budget and maximize cash flow after debt service.
• Lead marketing and occupancy efforts to improve visibility and revenue.
• Provide timely reports on projects and performance; communicate with management and residents.
• Conduct physical inspections and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures.
• Oversee vendor relationships, accounts payable/receivable, and capital projects.
