Job summary

Hunt Military Housing Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee operations for 950+ units, focusing on safety, costs, and service quality. You will manage staff, budgets, preventive maintenance, and vendor relations while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

The role requires a strong leadership background in multi-unit residential maintenance, technical knowledge across trades, and the ability to drive performance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Experience supervising staff is preferred.
• Licenses: valid Driver's License; EPA 608 certification; OSHA-10 training.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, training, evaluation and discipline of maintenance staff.
• Manage the budget and drive cash flow within the approved plan.
• Coordinate vendor communications, scheduling, invoicing and compliance.
• Schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and safety procedures are followed.
