Job summary

Associa is seeking a Community Manager I to supervise a portfolio of community associations in California. You will interact with homeowners, vendors, and boards, travel to client associations for meetings and inspections, and prepare agendas and management reports for Board packages.

You will also handle annual disclosures, notices, and financial statements, maintain records in C3, and oversee facility inspections and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of a portfolio of community associations.
• Interact with homeowners, vendors, board members, and committee members.
• Attend board meetings, perform inspections, and attend community events as needed.
• Prepare agendas, update management reports, and compile documents for Board meeting packages.
• Prepare annual disclosure packages, annual meeting notifications, and annual financial statements.
• Update homeowner and association information in C3 and shared files.
• Coordinate/oversee inspection of facilities and common areas and arrange follow ups.
• Supervise operation and administration of the Association per management agreement and policies.
• Serve as liaison with the Board and homeowners as needed.
• Review monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the Board.
• Provide recommendations to the Board regarding major capital expenditures.
