Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in print, electronic, and broadcast communications preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in social media and web content management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with web applications and basic photography.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit, and produce internal and external communications (press releases, newsletters, reports, social posts, web content).
• Collaborate with district leaders and communications team to implement strategies.
• Take photographs for web and print as needed.
• Assist with media management during emergencies and crisis situations.
• Coordinate events and recognitions aligned with district programs.
• Support outreach to reach target audiences and uphold CCISD values.
