Portland State University seeks a Communications Strategist to drive data-informed communication plans that support academic priorities, enrollment, and engagement. You will translate complex initiatives into compelling PSU stories and align them with brand pillars.

As an embedded strategic partner to colleges or units, you’ll balance local context with campus-wide alignment, working with faculty and staff in a dynamic environment. PSU employees only.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field.
• 2 years professional experience in communications, journalism or public relations.
• Demonstrable portfolio of successful communications projects.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Fluency in digital and social media.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute thoughtful, data-informed communication strategies.
• Translate complex initiatives into clear, compelling stories aligned with PSU’s brand and priorities.
• Collaborate with academic leaders, faculty and staff as an embedded strategic partner.
• Balance local context with campus-wide alignment in a decentralized environment.
