Job summary

Portland State University’s University Marketing & Communications seeks a Creative Copywriter to translate complex academic achievements into compelling narratives across enrollment campaigns, web copy, and alumni fundraising appeals.

You will adhere to PSU brand guidelines and collaborate with photographers, designers, and videographers to craft engaging content for diverse audiences, from prospective students to alumni. This is an in-person, full-time role within the UMC team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related writing-focused field.
• 4–6 years of professional copywriting experience in an agency, corporate marketing department, or higher education setting.
• Strong portfolio of published work across digital, print, and video.
