Job summary

Washington State University in Pullman, WA seeks a Communications Coordinator for the College of Education, Sport and Human Sciences. You will develop and implement multimedia communication initiatives advancing recruitment, student success, research, and community engagement.

Under the Director of Communications and Digital Operations, you will shape messaging strategy and coordinate across digital, print, email, social media, and public information channels to ensure consistency and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, English or related field and three years of related experience.
• Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication initiatives supporting the college's mission and programs.
• Coordinate messaging across digital, print, email, social media, and public information channels.
• Ensure consistency and effectiveness of communications and messaging strategy.
• Serve as the college's primary content development professional.
