Job summary

Young Life seeks a seasoned Communications Leader to design and execute strategic communications for enterprise initiatives. You will translate complex changes into clear messaging, write executive communications, and drive adoption across staff and leadership.

You will partner with product owners, operations, and training teams, shaping calendars, channels, and templates to ensure timely, relevant information and reduce overload. A commitment to the mission is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience leading communications for enterprise product implementations, technology rollouts, or organizational change initiatives.
Proven ability to develop communication strategies, translate complex information into clear, actionable messaging, and measure communication effectiveness.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering across technology, operations, training, and field leadership.
Experience with change management principles, preferably Prosci ADKAR.
Experience with SharePoint, EMMA, Canva, Excel and Google Workspace preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop communication strategies for enterprise products and organizational initiatives.
Create audience-focused communication plans to build awareness and adoption.
Align communications with project milestones, training, and support activities.
Advise project teams on communication and change management best practices.
Measure communication effectiveness and refine plans based on feedback.
Translate complex topics into clear, concise communications.
Write executive messages, staff announcements, email campaigns, intranet content, FAQs, and leadership talking points.
Execute communications across internal channels.
Reduce the communication burden on SMEs by leading planning and execution.
Maintain the staff intranet with current, organized content.
