Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Communications Manager for Campus Networking Product Management, leading communications strategy and end-to-end execution across leadership, product, and external forums.

You will partner with the SVP/GM and Chief of Staff to amplify presence in public forums, create executive content, and manage All Hands and internal events with meticulous planning and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading corporate communications programs.
• Experience supporting senior executives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong writing, editing, and editorial judgment for diverse audiences.
• Led cross-functional communications programs across Engineering, Marketing, PR, and Sales.
• Developed executive communications and content for large internal or external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual and quarterly communications strategy and calendar across leadership, employee, product, customer, and external communications.
• Develop and edit executive and organizational communications, including presentations, talking points, All Hands content, leadership messages, announcements, email, and digital content.
• Partner with product, sales, marketing, operations, and other teams to gather input, reconcile feedback, align stakeholders, and secure approvals.
• Coordinate with Marketing and cross-functional teams on forums, events, media opportunities, and external communications.
• Define measures of communication effectiveness and use insights to improve future work.
• Serve as editorial lead for executive communications, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders.
• Manage the full communications portfolio balancing high-visibility deliverables with broader messages.
• Create and manage workback plans for major communications and events with owners and milestones.
