IU Health in Indiana seeks a strategic Director of Communications for the South Region to lead a high-impact portfolio, shape messaging for internal and external audiences, and partner with regional executives to advance enterprise priorities.

The ideal candidate will build and mentor a high-performing team, translate complex business priorities into clear communications, and serve as a trusted advisor during sensitive or high-profile situations across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 8 plus years of relevant experience and 4 years of people leader experience.
• Requires experience managing multiple complex and often confidential projects involving multiple customers, interests and goals.
• Requires experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Requires experience with prior budget management authority and financial management.
• Knowledge of relevant state and national regulatory agency guidelines preferred.
