Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field required.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience, including media experience.
• Proven experience developing engaging news content and sourcing stories.
• Knowledge of analytics, publishing tools, content and visual management systems, and customer service practices.
• Knowledge of written, video, and photo content development and best practices.
• Leadership and development of team, and contributing to standards that strengthen the team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic lead for IU Health social media.
• Enhance brand awareness through team leadership and social media channel management.
• Own planning, creation and performance of content across all social platforms.
• Translate complex topics into accessible content for community engagement.
• Identify strategy to deliver relevant news and real-time community management.
• Develop relationships with diverse stakeholders and contributors.
• Deliver increased engagement and audience growth.
