Job summary

Lakeside Surfaces LLC, a premier fabricator and installer of granite, marble, and quartz serving the Midwest, is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to drive growth in the commercial construction sector.

You will target general contractors, developers, and commercial accounts across Michigan's Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing regions, building relationships, pursuing bid opportunities, and expanding Lakeside's market presence.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of sales experience in commercial construction, building materials, or related industries.
• Proven track record in new business development and territory management.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sales cycles and decision-making structures.
• CRM proficiency and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
• Identify and secure invitations to bid on high-value commercial projects.
• Manage opportunities and activity through CRM tools.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial accounts.
• Represent Lakeside at industry events and networking functions.
• Partner closely with the estimating team to deliver timely, competitive proposals.
• Expand Lakeside’s footprint in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine strategy.
