Job summary

Partners Bank in Sanford, Maine, seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager to support the Commercial Bankers by monitoring the loan portfolio and analyzing new lending opportunities. The role requires five+ years in finance, credit analysis experience, and knowledge of commercial lending policies.

You will collaborate with the credit department, loan servicing, and customers to ensure timely closings and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in the financial field.
• Experience in credit analysis, preferably in a commercial loan environment.
• Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
• Good communication and sales skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor commercial loan portfolios and report exceptions.
• Collaborate with commercial bankers, credit dept, loan servicing, and customers.
• Submit appraisal and environmental reports, new loan requests, and annual reviews.
• Analyze new requests with Commercial Bankers.
• Provide primary portfolio support during loan closings.
• Assist with risk rating evaluations, credit memos, and covenant testing.
• Ensure proper credit and collateral file documentation; collect financial statements.
• Engage in community involvement to promote bank products.
