Job summary

Camden National Bank seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager I to partner with Commercial Banking Officers and Directors to manage an assigned commercial loan portfolio. You will apply underwriting skills to ensure adherence to loan policy, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and ongoing portfolio maintenance.

Responsibilities include monitoring client performance, reviewing financial information, supporting loan requests, and preparing term sheets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial underwriting experience with evaluating credit facilities.
• Knowledge of commercial banking products including construction lending, asset-based lines of credit, and letters of credit.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of existing commercial customers in portfolio for covenants and risk rating.
• Discuss weaknesses or potential credit problems with Banking Officers and Directors.
• Request and review borrowers’ financial information monthly, quarterly, or annually as applicable.
• Analyze work to conform to regulatory guidelines and Bank policies.
• Assist Officers with underwriting requests and loan closings preparation.
• Prepare term sheets and commitment letters per approval documents.
• Renewals or modifications to loans within the portfolio.
