Flowserve Corporation in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Manager of Commercial Operations to lead the team delivering timely, technically sound quotations for Actuation within the assigned region and product families.

You will drive bookings growth, quotation effectiveness, order quality, and pricing discipline while partnering with sales, operations, and engineering to support Pursuit, forecasting, and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years in inside/outside sales, commercial operations, or quotation management in industrial equipment.
• Experience leading or coaching teams in a commercial or sales support setting.
• Strong understanding of pricing, terms, contracts, and order reviews.
• Experience in process control, valves, automation, or related markets.
• Analytical, organized, and good communicator.
• Proficiency with CRM, configurator, and business systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the Commercial Operations team with performance management.
• Ensure timely response to quotation opportunities and improve quote quality.
• Analyze quotation performance, including win/loss trends, to drive improvement.
• Oversee quotations and order reviews for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Support pricing strategy, discounts, surcharges, and margin performance.
• Partner with sales, operations, and engineering on projects and forecasts.
• Build relationships across regional/global teams to improve bookings.
