Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial front-end and/or sales experience, with cross-functional/platform experience preferred.
• Leadership experience required; collaborative leadership style and high employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Application Engineers and quoting staff to generate high-quality, on-time proposals and value-driven design decisions.
• Train, develop and engage quoting staff; draft development plans and provide feedback.
• Ensure policy/compliance training for customer-facing processes and proper oversight of team members.
• Create and implement best practices to improve quoting efficiency, cycle times, and hit-rate.
• Analyze performance metrics to optimize resource use and workload across the team.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Engineering; communicate proposal details across the bid cycle.
• Manage expenses and participate in department budgeting and monitoring.
• Enhance process compliance related to tools, systems, and policies.
