Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to lead a customer-focused team across estimating, order fulfillment, and project execution at the Lexington, KY site. You will partner with Sales, Engineering, Production, Transportation, and Finance to ensure timely, accurate communication and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years sales and/or operations management in manufacturing/industrial/construction.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and contracts.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication across contractors, engineers, subs, and officials.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Lean manufacturing or process-improvement certification.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of estimators, customer service reps, and project leads.
• Maintain a long-term schedule across all product lines.
• Develop and streamline processes to manage sales orders.
• Forecast shipments monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Review purchase orders for compliance with price levels and terms.
• Collaborate with other units to drive process improvements and predict demand.
• Work with departments to drive schedule attainment and resolve issues.
• Minimize and negotiate customer back charges.
• Manage change orders to minimize scope creep.
• Deliver orders on time and on budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
