Job summary

Lake Trust Credit Union seeks a Commercial Solutions Officer to identify and expand business relationships in an assigned market. You will offer a full range of loan, deposit, and non-credit services to current and prospective business members, and refer personal financial needs to the appropriate Relationship Manager.

You will interview applicants, develop financial and credit information, and process loan requests while ensuring adherence to policy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (business degree preferred).
Formal commercial credit training.
Knowledge and understanding of credit and finance.
Understanding of commercial lending and basics of credit and finance.
2+ years related work experience for Level I; 5 years related work experience preferred for Level II.

Responsibilities

Interviews applicants to develop financial and credit information, ascertain needs, abilities, earnings, and risk.
Solicits and processes loan requests of $100,000 and higher; works with Senior Officers on larger loans.
Prepares and presents loans to Credit Committee per policy.
Develops, services and provides ongoing management for business and individual members.
Monitors loans to ensure conformity with terms and trends.
