Job summary

You will call on local businesses, analyze financial statements, present loan requests to a credit committee, and collaborate with credit and operations teams to grow a relationship-driven portfolio while maintaining high credit quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and financial statement analysis.
• Experience with commercial real estate, owner-occupied real estate, agricultural lending, and C&I lending preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial and agricultural lending relationships through proactive business development.
• Structure loan opportunities meeting customer needs while maintaining risk standards.
• Underwrite and analyze credit requests; present to approval authorities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify credit concerns.
• Cross-sell treasury, deposits, and other banking services.
• Represent the bank in the community and stay current on market trends.
