Job summary

Insurance Office of America in New Jersey is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager with 5 to 10+ years of commercial insurance experience and an active P&C license. This role focuses on day-to-day client service, renewal management, and accurate policy administration.

You will maintain relationships, support retention efforts, coordinate policy changes, and ensure timely service deliverables, with opportunities across Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Senior Account Executive

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client service requests and inquiries.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support.
• Conduct coverage analysis and assist clients with policy-related questions.
• Maintain positive client relationships through responsive service.
• Manage policy expirations and renewal timelines.
• Gather underwriting information and prepare renewal submissions.
• Support renewal marketing efforts and proposal development.
• Assist with account retention initiatives.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure account documentation is accurate and complete.
• Monitor activity and suspense systems to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection efforts.
• Resolve billing and payment issues as needed.
• Maintain technical insurance knowledge and industry awareness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate company values and a commitment to client service excellence.
