Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Account Manager in San Jose to serve as the primary client contact for new prospects and existing accounts. You will drive customer satisfaction, retention, and profitable growth by managing maintenance, repairs, and larger projects.

The role collaborates with sales, operations, and field teams to qualify opportunities and coordinate proposals. You will develop new client relationships, deliver detailed estimates, manage contracts, and maintain CRM records while representing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in the building trades (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) with strong technical knowledge of systems and energy-efficiency solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and familiarity with CRM, estimating, and WIP tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills; ability to prepare clear proposals and documentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pursue new client relationships and qualify bid opportunities within assigned verticals and territories.
• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals; obtain and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Manage service agreements, repairs, work orders, billing coordination, and timely invoice collection through the account lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and field leadership to schedule and execute work, including job walks and site visits.
• Maintain accurate account activity, WIP, and deliverable records in the CRM and related systems.
• Generate leads for retrofit/modernization projects and drive sales toward PMA, quoted repairs, and small project goals.
