Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Manager in San Jose, CA. This full-time, on-site role leads HVAC/plumbing construction projects, coordinating engineering, purchasing, accounting, and service to deliver on schedule and within budget.

You will promote and finalize sales, prepare budgets, manage trade execution, and maintain client/vendor relationships while driving profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing HVAC and/or plumbing projects or equivalent in estimating/design/PM for projects $50k–$25M+.
• Experience in estimating, proposals, contracts, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily project operations, scope, schedule, and execution of trade work.
• Lead engineering, purchasing, accounting, construction, and service activities for assigned projects.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, contracts, and support sales activities including negotiations.
• Develop and maintain project budgets; monitor costs and corrective actions for profitability.
• Produce and manage project documentation and ensure sound business/legal procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
