Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrical Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for tenant improvements and new construction electrical installations.

The role involves analyzing plans, performing material and labor takeoffs, and coordinating with project managers and purchasing to prepare competitive bids. This on-site position requires a minimum of three years of commercial electrical estimating experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing, architectural and/or structural plans for electrical installations.
• Proficiency in listed estimating tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and project documents to determine scope, bid strategy, and estimate requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems, materials, equipment, and labor.
• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and proposals for commercial projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide estimating input during preconstruction and planning.
• Stay current on electrical industry trends, pricing, and labor factors.
