Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrical Estimator to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for tenant improvements and new construction electrical installations.

You will analyze plans and specs, perform material and labor takeoffs, and coordinate with project managers and purchasing to prepare bids. This on-site position requires reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope, bid strategy, and

Qualifications

• Three years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical-related plans and specs (refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, structural).
• Thorough knowledge of electrical materials and installation methods.
• Proficiency with estimation software suites including MS Office and estimating tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and documents to determine scope and bid strategy.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for electrical systems and labor.
• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and proposals for commercial projects.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input during preconstruction.
• Stay current on electrical market trends, pricing, and codes.
