Job summary

gpac is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager in Tulsa, OK to oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion. You will lead teams of contractors, architects, and engineers, ensuring budgets, schedules, and safety standards are met.

The role requires coordinating permits, managing costs, and communicating progress to stakeholders, with travel to project sites as needed. A strong background in scheduling software and building codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction with understanding of techniques and materials.
• Excellent knowledge of construction scheduling and project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Project).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resources required.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align goals.
• Obtain necessary permits and licenses and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets and track expenses.
• Control project costs by approving expenditures, monitoring invoices, and reviewing change orders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
• Lead project teams, conduct regular meetings, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize delays and budget impacts.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare status reports for management.
