Job summary

gpac is recruiting a Project Manager for a premier Dallas-area general contractor. You will lead project teams on commercial and light industrial jobs, ensuring client satisfaction through open communication, clear direction, and disciplined execution.

The role emphasizes preconstruction collaboration, plan interpretation, and proactive management of budgets, schedules, and procurement to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years experience managing commercial/light industrial projects.
• Strong financial management and ability to manage all aspects of a project end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.
• Read and interpret Construction Plans and Specifications.
• Mentor less experienced Project Management staff on daily duties.
• Work with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to build long-term relationships.
• Oversee Subcontractor and Vendor procurement and contract activities.
• Resolve drawing interpretation conflicts and errors.
• Manage Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Owner Billings, and time sheets.
• Ensure timely Owner Billings and verify quantities/billings.
• Forecast total costs at completion and monitor project schedules.
