Job summary

Regions Bank in Houston, TX seeks a Commercial Relationship Specialist to provide administrative support to Relationship Managers within Commercial Banking across AG, GIB, SBA, and Franchise Lending segments.

You will assist daily client-relationship tasks, prepare reports, and manage loan workflows, renewals, and data integrity across multiple systems while collaborating with underwriting and treasury teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of banking or client support experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general banking experience
• College degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists Relationship Manager(s) by performing daily support activities related to client relationships and keeps respective Relationship Manager informed when appropriate
• Acts as a point of contact for Commercial Banking clients for all servicing requests related to client relationships
• Attends weekly scheduled meetings with Relationship Manager(s) to discuss workflow items
• Provides reports for Relationship Manager(s) such as 360 Report, Weekly Sales Report, OneView Pipeline Report, Maturities, Past Due and Exception Reporting
• Facilitates and manages credit application workflow and collects financial information from clients
• Manages post-closing requirements including tickler requirements and exception citing
• Manages loan maturity pipeline ensuring renewals are approved and closed timely
• Liaises between Credit Products and Commercial Team with underwriting and loan fulfillment processes
• Supports Relationship Manager(s) with marketing requests, client presentations and prospect files
• Opens new deposit products for clients
• Onboards Treasury Management clients and guides them to resources
• Maintains data integrity for client accounts across source systems
• Maintains OneView data and manages pipeline reports for renewals and COIs
• Manages RGA grouping for accurate 360 reporting
• Provides support for specialized segments (GIB, SBA, AG, Capital Markets)
• Supports miscellaneous admin tasks and new associate onboarding
• Mentors new associates
