Job summary

Uber is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM governance lead in New York to own end-to-end release management, environment strategy, and cross-module development across the Oracle HCM stack. You will drive quarterly updates (A-D), patching, P2T refreshes, and coordinate with Oracle for SRs and platform health.

You'll lead hands-on configuration using Visual Builder Studio (VBS), Oracle AI Agent Studio, Fast Formulas, and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) to automate and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM administration, configuration, environment management, and release engineering.
• Release & Governance Expertise: Proven track record of managing mandatory quarterly Oracle update cycles (A, B, C, D), patch deployments, and P2T (Production-to-Test) refresh strategies across multi-pod environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience developing and configuring with Visual Builder Studio (VBS), Fast Formulas, and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL).
• Vendor & Ticket Escalation: Strong background managing high-priority Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and working directly with Oracle CSMs/Engineering.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience coordinating end-to-end regression testing windows across functional tracks (Payroll, OTL, Compensation, Core HR).

Responsibilities

• Update lifecycle ownership for quarterly Oracle Cloud HCM updates and patches.
• Manage environment planning and Pod Map across Dev/Test/Stage/Prod.
• Oversee P2T refreshes and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Oracle SRs and maintain weekly maintenance communications.
• Lead cross-module development using VBS and govern AI/automation tools.
• Enforce change management and production safeguards.
