Job summary

Uber is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM professional in San Francisco to own end-to-end environment governance, quarterly release management, and cross-module platform capabilities across Uber's Oracle Cloud HCM ecosystem.

You will manage instance planning, P2T refreshes, patch deployments, and regression testing, serving as the primary liaison for Oracle SRs and platform health while driving cross-module configurations (VBS, OGL, AI/automation) to optimize the platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM administration, configuration, environment management, and release engineering.
• Proven track record of managing mandatory quarterly Oracle update cycles (A, B, C, D), patch deployments, and P2T (Production-to-Test) refresh strategies across multi-pod environments.
• Hands-on experience developing and configuring with Visual Builder Studio (VBS) , Fast Formulas , and Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) .

Responsibilities

• Quarterly Release & Patch Management: Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and go-live sign-offs for Oracle Cloud HCM quarterly updates and patch deployments.
• Environment Governance & Instance Strategy: Oversee instance planning and maintain the cross-environment Pod Map; schedule Production-to-Test refreshes and coordinate maintenance windows.
• Cross-Module Platform Development & Innovation: Lead hands-on cross-module development using Visual Builder Studio to design UI/workflows and govern AI/automation integrations.
