Job summary

PNC's Private Bank seeks a Closely Held Business Advisor III to manage complex assets, coordinate with fiduciary teams, and provide investment and fiduciary recommendations. Based in a PNC office location, the role requires in-office or field work on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate has a JD or equivalent experience in fiduciary administration, estate planning, or business succession planning, and strong knowledge of corporate documents. Five+ years of relevant experience is typical.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent experience in fiduciary administration, estate planning, or business succession.
• Understanding of operating, partnership, shareholder, and other corporate documents.
• Knowledge of closely held businesses and private equity structures.
• Strong financial statement, business valuation, or investment analysis skills.
• Willingness to mentor and coach junior team members; prior management a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• LL.M. or CPA/CFA/CFP/CTFA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes business decisions regarding new business that includes closely-held assets and evaluates ability to accept these assets.
• Evaluates ability to accept assets and determine best plan of administration; coordinates committee presentations.
• Lead for relationships with internal partners for acquisition, reporting, and sale of closely-held assets.
• Coordinates fiduciary reviews of assigned assets and makes investment/fiduciary recommendations for monthly committee.
• Provides compliance-based reporting for assets flagged as exceptions and oversees compliance reviews.
