Job summary

PNC is seeking a Closely Held Business Advisor III in the Private Bank, based in a Dallas-area office. You will advise on complex fiduciary matters, including closely-held assets and business arrangements, and coordinate with fiduciary and sales teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating asset acceptance, coordinating committee processes, and guiding junior team members. A JD or relevant fiduciary/estate planning background is preferred, with certifications such as CPA/CFA viewed favorably.

Qualifications

• Dynamic self-starter who can develop into a leadership role within a short period of time.
• J.D. with demonstrated experience in estate planning and/or business succession planning and a strong understanding of trust governing documents and fiduciary issues.
• Understanding of operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and other corporate documents.
• Understanding of closely held businesses and private equity structures. Other alternative asset experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes business decisions regarding new business that includes closely-held assets and evaluates ability to accept these assets.
• Coordinates and operates committee presentations with advisors and other committee chairs responsible for oversight of asset acceptance, administration or disposition reviews.
• Works with internal partners to support acquisition, reporting and sale of assigned closely-held assets and often leads these relationships.
• Coordinates fiduciary reviews of assigned assets and makes investment/fiduciary recommendations for monthly committee meetings.
