Job summary

PNC is seeking a Closely Held Business Advisor III in its Private Bank organization. Based in a PNC office location, you will evaluate and manage closely-held assets, coordinate fiduciary reviews, and collaborate with sales and fiduciary teams to optimize asset administration and reporting.

Qualifications

• J.D. with estate planning or business succession planning experience
• Understanding of operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and other corporate documents
• Understanding closely held businesses and private equity structures; other asset experience a plus
• Strong financial statement, business valuation and/or investment analysis skills
• Desire to mentor and coach junior team members; prior management experience is a plus
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• LL.M and/or CPA, ASA, CFA, CFP, CTFA certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Makes business decisions regarding new business that includes closely-held assets and related legal issues.
• Evaluates asset acceptance and plans administration with fiduciary teams.
• Coordinates committee presentations for asset oversight and disposition reviews.
• Leads relationships with internal partners for asset acquisition, reporting and sale.
• Performs fiduciary reviews for complex assets and makes investment recommendations.
• Provides compliance-based reporting for flagged assets and oversees reviews.
