Job summary

PNC is seeking a senior Closely Held Business Advisor III in its Private Bank organization, based at a PNC office location in Illinois. Responsibilities include evaluating closely-held assets, coordinating asset administration, and collaborating with fiduciary and sales teams in a dynamic in-office setting.

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, JD or equivalent and strong financial/valuation skills; mentoring junior staff and regulatory compliance are also expected.

Qualifications

• J.D. with estate planning/business succession experience and fiduciary knowledge.
• Understanding of operating, partnership and shareholder agreements.
• Knowledge of closely held businesses and private equity structures.
• Strong financial statement, valuation and investment analysis skills.
• Desire to mentor and coach junior team members; management experience a plus.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• LL.M and/or certifications such as CPA/ASA/CFA/CFP/CTFA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes decisions on new closely-held assets; analyzes asset acceptance and related issues.
• Collaborates with sales and fiduciary teams on asset proposals and administration.
• Leads relationships with internal partners to support asset acquisition and reporting.
• Coordinates fiduciary reviews and provides investment/fiduciary recommendations for committee meetings.
• Provides compliance-based reporting and conducts reviews for assets with exceptions.
