Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst to partner with hospital executives and IT leadership, leading the design, build, and optimization of EHR workflows across LIS, RIS/PACS, and revenue cycle domains.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from discovery and current-state analysis through future-state design, build configuration, go-live adoption, and post-live optimization, while mentoring staff and coordinating with EHR vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, information systems, clinical sciences, or related field.
5+ years in healthcare IT/clinical informatics with hospital setting experience.
Experience building and configuring EHR workflows (Cerner/Oracle Health, Epic, Meditech).
Proven ability to lead workflow initiatives from discovery to go-live.
Proficient with presenting to hospital executives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead executive-level discovery sessions with hospital leadership to identify priorities.
Design and build optimized clinical workflows across the EHR, focusing on order entry and documentation.
Own the full clinical workflow lifecycle from current-state analysis to go-live optimization.
Lead recurring sessions with stakeholders to iteratively build and refine EHR-driven processes.
Mentor junior informatics staff and coordinate with vendor build documentation and promotions.
