Job summary

CHS Corporate seeks a Sr. Clinical Informatics professional to design, implement, and optimize clinical information systems across multiple domains. The role partners with clinical and IT teams to improve patient care, workflows, and decision support through technology.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of clinical workflow design, testing, validation, and change leadership, with experience mentoring junior informatics staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN with informatics experience; degree optional if experience meets criteria.
• ASN/BSN 5 years of informatics experience required.
• ASN/BSN 3 years of informatics experience with certifications required.
• LPN 7 years of Informatics/EHR experience and certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Leads workflow mapping and gap analysis in clinical environments.
• Designs validation and testing strategies with teams.
• Serves as SME during go-live, adoption, and stabilization.
• Guides change management and aligns stakeholders.
• Mentors P1-P2 informaticists on workflow analysis and deliverables.
• Keeps current on regulatory requirements, data standards, and best practices.
• Analyzes data and performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Acts as liaison between clinical and IT to represent needs.
