Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to ensure service excellence for defined contribution plans. You will manage senior stakeholder relationships, consult on plan design and drive client engagement across internal teams.

The role emphasizes retention, RFP/RFI processes, pricing strategy and cross-sell opportunities. Travel 35–50% of the time; remote work eligible within nationwide territory.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of client service relationship management for defined contribution plans.
• State insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of 401(k) plans with investment background.
• Strong client management, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; travel 35–50% nationwide; licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client stakeholders to build trust-based relationships with executives, treasury, HR, advisors and TPAs.
• Lead cross-functional service teams to meet plan design and engagement goals; report on metrics.
• Own client retention, RFIs/RFPs, pricing strategy and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate internal resources for client enhancement projects and manage implementation dates.
• Identify growth opportunities for cross-sales of other Voya recordkeeping products.
