Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking an experienced account manager to oversee a defined book of client business, advising on service and operations to support strategic initiatives.

You will build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and consultants, ensure high satisfaction, and drive growth and retention through cross-functional collaboration.

This role requires 2+ years in account management, a degree in business, and comfort working in an agile environment with remote-friendly options.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of account management or client service experience.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence internal and external business partners.
• Experience participating in client-related project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent account implementations, client/broker/consultant requests, and business needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain a strong understanding of business objectives, products, services, processes, competitive landscape, and business environment.
• Proven ability to adapt to change quickly and work effectively within an agile environment.
• Proven problem identification and solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of insurance platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of client business and advise on service and operations. (concat approx 90 chars)
• Develop and manage account plans with growth and retention strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to address client requirements.
• Manage client contracts, compliance, and related activities.
• Coordinate client-related marketing initiatives and reporting.
