Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Client Manager / Business Development professional to identify and pursue new clients while growing profitability aligned with our strategic goals. You will lead relationship-building efforts, coordinate market research, and guide proposal development to win opportunities.

The role requires a track record in selling and building networks among COIs, architects, owners and decision-makers, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related discipline and 4+ years of experience selling and developing new business with revenues from $5 million to over $50 million.
Experience and familiarity with the A/E/C industry is preferred.
Proven management experience and strategy deployment in a construction firm; experience developing new markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop new business through pursuit of strategic targets and relationship building.
Build a network for lead generation and meeting potential clients; nurture relationships within target sectors.
Pursue business opportunities with strategic targets and manage relationships with existing clients.
Initiate compelling calls and presentations to showcase AP’s capabilities and value proposition.
Coordinate with marketing and preconstruction to craft winning strategies and proposals; oversee project negotiations.
