Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring a Client Manager / Business Development to identify new clients and support existing ones, driving profitable growth aligned with AP’s mission. The role requires building relationships, pursuing strategic targets, and coordinating with marketing and preconstruction teams.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, a consultative selling background, and strong CRM skills to manage multiple decision makers across complex opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related discipline with 4+ years in selling and developing new business.
• Proven success in managing complex sales processes with multiple decision makers.
• Experience in the A/E/C industry or construction firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through strategic targets and relationship building.
• Pursue opportunities with strategic targets and manage existing client relationships.
• Lead calls and presentations to showcase AP’s capabilities and value.
• Coordinate marketing strategies with teams to win in the marketplace.
• Oversee proposals, pricing, and negotiations within budget guidelines.
