Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency seeks a Client Director on the Employee Health & Benefits team to oversee client relationships within an assigned book of business. You will build and sustain senior-level engagements, understand client needs, and coordinate service delivery with cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes client retention and collaboration in the sales process, with opportunities to grow the book of business over time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business.
• 5–8 years of industry experience in insurance, consulting, or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage senior client executives and cultivate relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the group benefits industry and financial planning aspects.
• Leadership, persuasion, communication and writing skills are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and lead a team.
• Self-directed, organized and resourceful.
• Must hold and maintain a valid Life & Health insurance license in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship for an assigned book of business.
• Establish and maintain internal and external relationships and understand client needs.
• Coordinate the team delivering services and client communications.
• Participate in the sales process and maintain high client retention.
• Grow the book of business to meet target size over time.
