Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Sr Dir, Delivery Project Management to lead the Delivery Project Management function and oversee client-facing PMs delivering complex engagements. The role partners with Account Management, Delivery, Operations, and Technology to drive governance, value realization, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in senior delivery leadership, strong executive communication, and a track record of optimizing outcomes via data-driven and AI-enabled approaches,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years leading cross-functional project or program delivery.
• Experience with healthcare, supply chain, consulting, or technology-enabled services.
• 5+ years coaching and developing project management teams.
• Strong communication with executive stakeholders and client relationships.
• Experience with governance, metrics, and operational processes.
• PM certification desired (PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma).
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a delivery PM organization with clear priorities and accountability.
• Coach leaders and teams, driving professional growth and succession planning.
• Align work to strategic priorities while adopting new tools and ways of working.
• Partner with Account Management and senior stakeholders to meet client goals.
• Communicate progress, risks, and value through executive governance.
• Establish governance, standards, metrics, and reporting for delivery excellence.
• Lead responsible AI adoption to improve team productivity and outcomes.
