AAA seeks a senior Claims Operations Group Manager to lead claims teams and drive strategy across the unit. The role focuses on profitability, service excellence, and cost control, with accountability for implementing scalable processes and policies.

The ideal candidate brings extensive claims leadership experience, strong communication, and a deep understanding of policy application, audits, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• CPCU/SCLA/AIC designations preferred.
• 8+ years of claims experience with leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of policy application in claims.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and processes to achieve organizational goals in claims performance and service.
• Ensure unit meets quality and regulatory requirements; review audits and performance data.
• Implement improvements supporting MSI, CSI, and MRM strategies.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with executives and other units.
• Provide leadership to claims managers and staff; mentor successors.
• Develop and manage operating budget and cost controls for the unit.
• Lead staff recruitment and development; drive succession planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain strategic focus on profitability.
• Understand and apply insurance laws and regulations affecting claims.
