Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business/public administration or related field; 5 years of project/program management experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
• Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of non-management experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure approvals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department budgeting and administration, ensuring resources align with strategic goals.
• Lead development and implementation of departmental goals, policies, and staffing priorities.
• Coordinate with City departments and external agencies for cross‑functional initiatives.
• Present strategies to internal and external stakeholders and manage public outreach.
• Foster collaboration between City employees, public, elected officials, and boards.
