Job summary

Greencastle Antrim School District is seeking a Chief Financial and Support Services Officer to lead the district's financial operations. The role oversees budgeting, accounting, payroll, grants, risk management, and capital planning, reporting directly to the Superintendent and Board of Directors.

As custodian of district resources, the CFSSO directs financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with PDE requirements, while guiding strategic financial planning and support services to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in accounting or school business administration.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience with Pennsylvania school district accounting and financial reporting preferred.
• Pennsylvania school business administration certification and/or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the district's annual operating, capital, and long-range budget processes.
• Advise the Superintendent and Board on financial impact of programs, staffing, contracts, and capital projects.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and personnel financial matters.
• Manage debt service, investments, and capital projects reporting.
• Coordinate audits and respond to audit findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state laws, PDE requirements, and board policies.
