Job summary

Fairfield Community Schools seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead the district’s business operations in Goshen, IN. The role reports to the Superintendent and manages payroll, accounting, data processing, and budget development.

The CFO will oversee insurance, risk management, contracts, and grant reporting, ensuring compliance and sound financial stewardship for the twelve-month term. Strong Excel skills and prior district experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly reports of the fiscal operation to the superintendent and Board of School Trustees.
• Assist in budget preparation and debt service payments.
• Manage insurance and risk programs for the district.
• Supervise accounts payable, purchasing, and payroll staff.
