Sweet Home Central School District seeks a Cabinet-level Chief Financial and Operations Officer to lead financial management, facilities, food service, transportation, technology, health services, and community programs. This executive role requires strong integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to align resources with student and district needs.

Qualifications

• Certified district-level financial leadership expertise and governance knowledge.
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead large administrative teams and cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of public-sector finance, state aid, and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the District’s chief financial officer and advise the Superintendent and Board on fiscal matters.
• Develop, administer, and monitor the annual budget and long-range financial plan.
• Oversee accounting, payroll, purchasing, grants, audits, and financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Present financial reports and recommendations to the Board and community.
• Support bargaining through financial analysis and cost projections.
• Lead District-wide safety, security, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Provide executive oversight of Buildings and Grounds, Food Service, Transportation, Technology, Health Services, and capital projects.
• Supervise and evaluate district administrators and departments.
• Lead capital planning and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Oversee departmental budgets, staffing, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate community programs and partnerships.
