Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the District's financial functions in line with Illinois School Code and GAAP. You will report to the Superintendent and direct the business affairs of the District.

Responsibilities include leading finance, grants, purchasing, budget development, cash flow management, internal controls, and reporting to the Board and administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or CPA preferred.
• Successful experience as a School Business Official preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all District financial functions in compliance with Illinois School Code and GAAP.
• Direct financial operations and budgeting for the District.
• Lead internal controls and accounting system integrity.
• Collaborate with Superintendent and Cabinet on financial planning.
• Manage debt, investments, and cash flow.
• Provide financial information for planning and reporting.
