Job summary

Bergey’s Automotive Dealerships is seeking a Service BDC Manager to lead the centralized team that schedules all service appointments across the dealer group. You will own inbound/outbound scheduling, manage vendor relationships with PBS, Xtime and Alpha AI, and ensure a single, consistent point of contact for service advisors.

You will oversee team coaching, policy development, and capacity planning to maximize throughput while maintaining excellent customer experience across all locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an automotive dealership environment (service, sales or BDC).
• Experience leading or supervising a customer-facing team or call center.
• Working knowledge of dealership CRM/DMS platforms and scheduling technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the inbound and outbound scheduling teams across multiple locations.
• Own capacity-aware scheduling policies aligning with technician capacity and bay availability.
• Serve as primary liaison for PBS, Xtime and Alpha AI vendor relationships.
• Track KPIs: appointment set/show rates, containment, and outbound success.
• Collaborate with service leadership to align scheduling with workflow.
