Westin Dallas Downtown is seeking a dynamic Catering/Sales Manager to maximize revenue through catering services and event spaces, ensuring successful planning and execution of events with exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong sales, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. Applicants should be adept at negotiating, coordinating with banquet and operations, and delivering a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality, business, marketing.
• Minimum 2 years in catering sales or event planning, hotel/hospitality preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and closing deals.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new business and manage accounts to drive revenue.
• Plan and coordinate events, including menus, AV, and timelines.
• Upsell services such as AV equipment and rooms.
• Serve as the main contact ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
• Collaborate with banquet, kitchen, and operations teams for flawless execution.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and BEOs meeting Marriott standards.
• Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Maintain records of sales activities and revenue using CI-TY tools.
